Greetings faithful women of the Gertrude Hawkins Women's Missionary Society
Missionary Emphasis Sunday Program will be next Sunday January 31, 2010.
We will be continuing with our health focus and the theme for this program is:
"Know Better, Do Better, Be Better." A short presentation about chronic illness and emergency health information will be given by myself, and the sermon will be presented by our Pastor- Rev. Donald L. Phillips III. A special thank you to our Vice President- Sis. Ira Byrd- for her hard work concerning the planning of this program.
Please remember to lift up our local WMS in prayer as we continue to strive to serve the Lord and His People through the ministry of missions.

+++++A special thank you to all of you for your support in making the past mission projects wonderful success. We provided lunch for the Ministerial Alliances Lenten Luncheon, and we blessed 12 elderly or ill individuals/families with beautiful fruit baskets during the Christmas Holiday.
