Greetings Women’s Missionary Society Members,
The women of the Gertrude Hawkins Women’s Missionary Society of Lewis Chapel AME Church would like to cordially invite you to attend our Annual Prayer Brunch. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 11 AM. The brunch will be located at New Hope Worship Center (13600 28 ½ Mile Rd., Albion, MI 49224).
The theme for this year’s annual brunch is “Garden of Prayer.” We are requesting that a representative of your local WMS participate in our program by offering a prayer. We would be honored to have representation of women from churches across the area and conference. If you are willing to participate in this way, please contact Sis. The intention of our brunch is to unite as believers in prayer concerning the needs of God’s body and for the will of God to be accomplished in this land. Our event will have a prayer focus, but will also incorporate praise and worship throughout the program. Our prayer brunch is an open event and all persons are welcome, so please bring your missionary sisters and brothers, your families and your friends. We are asking for donations of $10/adult and $5/youth (under age 10).
