Greeting in the Matchless Name of our Lord and Savior,

The mission trip to India has met with success! I have heard only positive testimonies from those who traveled to A.M.E. India for India’s Inaugural Annual Conference and we thank you for your prayers.
Our next mission trip is June 13th - 23rd to the Dominican Republic where our youth will experience their first outreach in a foreign country. We have approximately 70 youth and 15 adults traveling. I will also travel on this trip. Please offer our youth your support in whatever manner is needed. Each person traveling will bring 2 bags with them, one for themselves and the other will be left in the Dominican. Each person has a list of what is needed for the trip. We are praying every morning between 7am – 8am (EST) and 6am – 7am (CST). You may pray by yourself or gather a group to pray with you.

Christian Education Congress is scheduled July 7th – 10th, “Mandate for Global Impact”. Our focus will be the Eradication of Violence of every kind. To support our initiatives we are selling pins at $10.00 each, to be worn the week of Congress, whether or not you attend. We ask that if you cannot attend the complete Congress, that you attend on the day of your conference experience and invite others of different denominations. They could be Christians or those interested in becoming Christians. We want to impact the world. Pins will be available soon. Information can be found in this edition of the newsletter. If you have not registered for Congress as yet, I urge you to do so. You will find a registration form and hotel information also in this newsletter. We are honoring our Life Members at a Royal Tea on Wednesday, July 7th at 2p.m. At the same time we will have a “Princess Court” for girls ages 6 – 10years. We have only 100 Princess tickets and we asking 100 adults to bring a child with them. This will be a cultural experience for our young girls; they will have tea with one of our missionary sisters and will be mentored and receive instruction on etiquette.

Our Healthcare Mission to Lesotho is in need of additional Health Care workers; Doctors, Nurses and support persons. More details are listed in this publication.

I praise God for you because without you, there would not be a Women’s Missionary Society. We would not have this great body of women and men focused on doing the work of the Lord; doing great things throughout the 4th Episcopal District and throughout the world.

To God be the Glory for the Things He has done! We are the 4th and rising!!
